Trust Me....J. Lynn's new book Trust in Me is a book you don't want to miss!

Welcome to the Trust in Me blog tour!!!!

I have to say that I am a HUGE fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout/J. Lynn. She can write no wrong with me! So when I heard that Cam was getting a book from his POV, I literally

And I'm proud to day that I'm a card carrying member of the Author Stalker club, the Jennifer Armentrout chapter!

So, you can imagine my excitement when the invitation to read & review this book came into the blog. I think Nikki's ears are still ringing.

So, without further ado, here is my review for Trust in Me! :)

It's Wait for You as you've never seen it. Trust in Me lets you in on Cam's side of the #1 New York Times bestselling story.

Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life—literally—he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam's not ready to give up. He can't get the feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.

Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. Will persistence (and some delicious homemade cookies) help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery's life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?

I was really excited to read this book. First of all, I love J. Lynn/Jennifer L. Armentrout’s work. I’ve never been disappointed. Second, I loved Wait for You. So when I found out there was going to be a book from Cam’s POV, I instantly started the count down.

And this book was everything I expected it to be. And as much as I loved seeing everything from Cam’s POV, it didn’t have the same magic as the first book. The story was still good, but I knew all the big things that were going to happen. Some of the in-between things were different since this was from Cam’s POV, but the big plot points…all the same. The anticipation of the big secrets wasn’t there. Books like this make me wish the two versions were combined in one alternating POV book. That way I’m not reading the same book twice but from different perspectives.

But with that said, I still love Cam. He’s so sweet, and I loved seeing the way he felt about Avery and how he wouldn’t give up on her.

I love J. Lynn/ Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books. It’s as simple as that. Granted, I haven’t read all of them (yet) but every single book I’ve read, I’ve loved.

Wait for you wasn’t a typical J. Lynn book. And by that I mean it wasn’t about adults. This was about college age kids. It was firmly NA. Yes, legally they are adults, but they are college kids and they act that way.

I loved Cam. He is definitely one of my favorite heroes of all time. Every scene with him was so much fun to read and I would be lying if I said he didn’t make me

Because he definitely did. He was awesome. And he baked!

And it wasn’t just cookies, he had a whole array of baked goods. And he cooked for Avery. And speaking of Avery...I really liked her. She had endured a lot of stuff prior to the book. I loved how Cam really had to work for his date with Avery. Even though he was interested in her (and made it known at every opportunity), he didn’t push her further than she was ready to handle. They actually spent time together, getting to know each other. I loved reading their scenes. Avery had some of the best friends found in books. Jacob and Brit. They were funny, supportive and caring. Combined with the little we saw of Cam’s friends (Jace & Ollie), they made up a great group. Oh, and I can’t forget Raphael and later Michelangelo.

Avery’s parents were just horrible. That’s all there was to it. In every page you could feel the lack of care and emotion they had for her. I was so happy when Avery told them off and called them on their crap. I was definitely cheering her on.

My only complaints (to an otherwise perfect book) was the fact that Avery let multiple moments pass where she could have come clean with Cam about her background. I understand it was hard for her to talk about it and that she didn’t want to talk about it. But every time she considered it she kept her mouth shut. My other complaint…Avery’s confrontation with her parents and Molly. Don’t get me wrong, I was glad both happened, but it was left until the very end. It almost felt rushed. Right after Avery tells Cam everything, she goes home, confronts her parents and Molly and the book ends with the epilogue.

But, even with the rushed confrontations and ending, I loved this book. I actually feel like I don’t have enough words to state how much I loved this book. It will definitely be a reread for me in the future. But that’s hardly surprising since every J. Lynn/ Jennifer L. Armentrout book I’ve read is the same way.

# 1 NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestselling author Jennifer lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia. All the rumors you’ve heard about her state aren’t true. When she’s not hard at work writing. she spends her time reading, working out, watching really bad zombie movies, pretending to write, and hanging out with her husband and her Jack Russel Loki.
Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent most of her time writing short stories….which explains her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes Young Adult paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary romance. She is published with Spencer Hill Press, Entangled Teen and Brazen, Disney/Hyperion and Harlequin Teen.

Thank you for joining me to celebrate this great book by an author that is pure AWESOMESAUCE!
