Setta Jay cover Binding Ecstasy

What lies will he tell to keep her safe, and will they tear them apart, or bind them forever?

Coming May 31st 2015!

Setta Jay is the author of the popular Guardians of the Realms Series. She's garnered attention and rave reviews in the paranormal romance world for writing smart, slightly innocent heroines and intense alpha males. She loves writing stories that incorporate a strong plot with a heavy dose of heat. Her influences include Judith McNaught who she feels writes a smart heroine to perfection, Gena Showalter, Maya Banks and Lora Leigh. You can often find her writing compared to JR Ward, but if you are a fan of the Black Dagger Brotherhood be warned that Setta Jay's novels are more erotic in nature.
Born a California girl, she currently resides in Idaho with her husband of ten plus years who she describes as incredibly sexy and supportive.
She loves to hear from readers so feel free to ask her questions on social media or send her an email, she will happily reply.

REVIEW: Aflame by Penelope Douglas

23437291Aflame by Penelope Douglas
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

To sum it up: The tables have turned. Now I have the power—and it’s his turn to beg…

Everyone wants to be me.

Maybe it’s the sway of my skirt or the way I flip my hair, but I don’t care. Even though their attention is the last thing I crave, I just can’t stop. I dominate the track, the speed rattles my bones, and the wind and the crowd screams my name.

I’m her. The girl driver. The queen of the race. And I’m surviving—something he thought I’d never do.

They all still talk about him. Did you see Jared Trent on T.V? What did you think of his last race, Tate? When is he coming back to town, Tate?

But I refuse to care too much. Because when Jared does come home, I won’t be here.

Tatum Brandt is gone. I’m someone new.

KISSING MADELINE by Lex Martin!!! New Favorite book!

KM BANNER
Title: Kissing Madeline (Dearest, #3)
Author: Lex Martin
Release Date: April 27, 2015
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Cover Design by: Krista Ritchie

What’s the worst thing about wanting a sexy NFL football player? Everyone else wants him, too.

After catching my boyfriend getting deep-throated by a skanky cage girl, I’ve learned my lesson – never date a professional athlete. Never. Besides, I have more important things to worry about, like not blowing my shot to make it as a broadcast reporter. I won’t let anything get in my way, not even the new “it boy” of the NFL and my hot-as-hell neighbor.

What's the worst thing about getting death glares from his new neighbor? It doesn't make him want her any less.

I’ve worked my ass off to make it to the pros. The last thing I need is the complication of a relationship, especially since my last one was a total train wreck. But I can’t stop thinking about the feisty girl next door with the smart mouth. And I’d love nothing more than to show her what to do with that mouth.
Friends with benefits might be the best idea he’s ever had. Or the worst.

Kissing Madeline is a companion novel to DEAREST CLEMENTINE and FINDING DANDELION. Each book is a stand-alone.

Kissing Madeline…I’ve read the two previous books by Lex Martin and loved both of them. So when I had the opportunity to read this one, I jumped at it. I’ll be honest and say, from the blurb alone, I couldn’t recall either character name from the previous books. It wasn’t until I was a few chapters into this book that I realized that Daren was Clem’s ex and Madeline was the college reporter that interviewed Clem toward the end of her book. I’ll admit that I lost a little steam there. I wasn’t a huge fan of Daren (I hold grudges against fictional characters) and even though he stepped up and helped Clem and they made nice and it was all water under the bridge for them, I wasn’t sold on him. But…

…I quickly fell for him. There was so much more to him than just being a jock. And I loved how he loved Maddie. Even when they were just “friends with benefits”, he didn’t look at another girl. He was all about her. While I don’t condone cheating (and FYI: there wasn’t any in this book), it was nice to know his side of what happened with Clem. I fully expected his ex to show up and cause trouble but she didn’t.

I also really liked Maddie. She seemed so real and it was easy to feel for her. She was just coming out of a bad break up and my biggest complaint about that was the lack of confrontation with the guy and the chick he was caught cheating with. I wanted more from that! But…beyond that, I loved her story. I never felt like she was being stupid about her relationship with Daren. Yes, they kept the relationship quiet because she was afraid of losing her job by dating him, but she had good reason.

I loved them together. Every moment of them was just pure perfection. I loved their chemistry, I loved their banter and I loved their history. I loved finding out that they had met back in high school and that he asked her out. That was beyond sweet.

There was a little suspense/mystery/scandal element to the book (it was a long build with little hints that it was coming) and I totally called it. But when the scandal broke, I loved how Daren stood by Maddie.

As much as I liked the previous two books in this series, I have to say that this was hands down my favorite. I don’t know if the author plans to continue the series with more characters/friends but if not, there was a very nice ending showing where each couple is a few years down the road.

DEAREST CLEMENTINE (Dearest, #1 - Clementine & Gavin)
Amazon | Nook | Kobo | Paperback

Dearest ClementineTwenty-year-old Clementine Avery doesn't mind being called bitchy and closed off. It's safe, and after being burned by her high school sweetheart and stalked by a professor her freshman year of college, safe sounds pretty damn good. Her number one rule for survival? No dating. That is until she accidentally signs up for a romance writing class and needs material for her latest assignment. Sexy RA Gavin Murphy is more than happy to play the part of book boyfriend to help Clem find some inspiration, even if that means making out...in the name of research, of course. As Gavin and Clem grow closer, they get entangled in the mystery surrounding a missing Boston University student, and Clem unwittingly becomes a possible target. Gavin tries to show Clem she can handle falling in love again, but she knows she has to be careful because her heart’s at stake…and maybe even her life.

FINDING DANDELION (#2 - Jax and Dani) Amazon | Nook | Kobo | Paperback

Finding Dandelion Official CoverWhen soccer all-star Jax Avery collides with Dani Hart on his twenty-first birthday, their connection is instantaneous and explosive. For the first time in years, Jax isn’t interested in his usual hit-it and quit-it approach. But Dani knows better. Allowing herself a night to be carefree and feel the intensity of their attraction won’t change anything when it comes to dealing with a player. So when Jax doesn’t recognize Dani the next time he sees her, it shouldn’t be a total shock. The fact that he’s her new roommate’s brother? That’s a shock. Dani doesn’t regret that night with Jax, just the need to lie about it. Since her roommate has made it clear what she thinks about her brother’s “type” of girl, the last thing Dani wants is to admit what happened. Jax knows he’s walking a fine line on the soccer team. One more misstep and he’s off the roster, his plans to go pro be damned. Except he can’t seem to care. About anything… except for the one girl who keeps invading his dreams. Despite Jax’s fuzzy memory of his hot hookup with his sister’s friend, he can’t stay away from her, even if that means breaking his own rules. But there are bigger forces at work–realities that can end Dani’s college career and lies that can tear them apart. Jax realizes what he’s losing if Dani walks away, but will he sacrifice his future to be with her? And will she let him if he does?

Lex Martin writes new adult novels, the sexy kind with lotsa angst, a whole lotta kissing, and the hot happily ever afters. When she's not writing, she lives a parallel life as an English teacher. She loves printing black and white photos, listening to music on vinyl, and getting lost in a great book. Bitten by wanderlust, she's lived all over the country but currently resides in the City of Angels with her husband and twin daughters.

NEW RELEASE!!! BRO' by Joanna Blake!

 Cover Credits:
Kruse Images & Photography: Models & Boudoir https://www.facebook.com/KIPmodelsandboudoir

I can't stand a BRO'. You know the type. Rich, hot, tan, full of himself. Well, I've got one under my skin and he's driving me insane. The worst part is, he knows it.

Clayton Westfield isn't my friend or even just a classmate. He's something even more annoying. My mother Dana works for the Westfield's and we live in their house. Well, above the garage really. Clayton is just a few years older so I've known him all my life. We even went to the same private school.

He's rich, he's loud, he's full of himself. He's a BRO' in the worst sense of the word.

And I can't take my eyes off of him. He knows it too. He has a lot of fun posing for me by the pool, half naked or worse. But the jokes on him because after freshman year of college, I finally grew boobs.

Now it's summer and he's the one who can't keep his eyes off of me.

Turn about is fair play, doncha think?

His hands were on my hips, dragging me against his body. His lips found mine. I opened my mouth for air- out of surprise- and his tongue swooped inside my mouth.
He leaned over me, molding his body against mine. His hand slipped down, yanking my thigh up to his waist. Then he maneuvered himself between my legs so that I could feel him.
Oh God.
Clay was hard.
Really, really hard.
I heard a soft, needy whimpering sound and realized it was coming from me. My hands were all over his chest, shoulders and arms. I’d waited a long time to touch him, and even though I knew it was a bad idea, I couldn’t seem to help myself.
“Jesus Nev, you feel good.”
He came up for air and was staring down at me. He looked perplexed, hungry and very very horny. For me. I knew it was for me.
He dipped down a little and scooped his hips up, circling his cock against me. I felt him slide the skirt of my maids uniform upwards and grind himself into my panties. His fingers traced the edge of them.
“I can’t believe I am finding Grannie Panties this fucking hot. Promise me you’ll never wear a thong Nev. I’m not sure I would survive it.”
He kissed me again, his tongue swirling into my mouth. He had one hand on my ass, holding me in place so he could work himself against me. His other hand was moving restlessly upwards until it closed over my breast.
We moaned in unison at the contact.
Then he pulled away a little bit and reached down.
He was sliding my panties down.
That’s when it hit me. Clayton Westfield was trying to fuck me in the servants pantry. He was going to try and fuck me. Here.
Oh hell NO.

“Life imitates art far more than art imitates Life.” ― Oscar Wilde Author Nicola Royse dreamed of Scottish Highlanders as a teen then wrote about them as an adult. Always looking but never finding her own White Knight, she still held out hope that he would one day ride up on his trusty steed. He rode up all right, on a silver Harley with heat in his eyes and a detective's badge on his hip while she and her friends plotted her first contemporary romantic suspense. Of course, life couldn't' imitate art without a killer on the loose, one that had Nicola and her friends in his sights. Detective Dallas Vaughn dedicated his life to catching killers. Then one day he bumped into the girl-next-door, and all that changed. Now he's her White Knight fighting against a Dark Prince—one who would love to see her dead.

“Sweetheart, I’m a cop.  I don’t take anything at face value, nor do I assume.  I’d been thinkin’ about the taste of your lips since the first time you spilled coffee on me.  Since an opportunity presented itself, I took it,” he answered with a shrug.  “As for yesterday, I decided I was done thinkin’ about the taste of your lips and was putting you on notice.”  I didn’t know what to do with all that, but something he said caught my attention more than his thinking he could put me on notice—whatever that meant. And since I clearly liked to embarrass myself, and he was willing to answer, I decided to go for the gusto. Drawing in a deep breath for courage, I leaned forward and asked, “Um, how exactly did I taste?” I really needed to know the answer to this. I’ve written this scene a hundred times, the one where the hero talks about a woman tasting sweet like honey, and I had to know if it was true.

Dallas’ eyes seemed to turn from a rich honey to a darker amber color, and the air around us hummed with energy as he stared back at me. My heart started beating rapidly when he leaned forward, so only I could hear, and whispered, “Like apple pie and sex.”

“Really?” I whispered back as my gaze moved to his lips, wondering if he would ever kiss me again.

“Nicola.” “Yeah?” I answered as I thought about nipping his lower lip, then sucking it into my mouth.

“If you don’t stop starin’ at my lips I’m gonna haul you out of that chair and kiss you until your legs give out. Then I’ll carry you to my car and everyone in this place will know exactly what we’re doin’.” “Does that really happen?” I breathed out as my eyes shot to his.

Clearly, something about this guy brought out my inner hussy since the thought of sex in his car wasn’t exactly the deterrent he thought it was. I was honestly considering testing the truthfulness of his statement.

“Does what really happen?” “Being kissed so thoroughly your legs go weak.” “Babe,” was his only reply, as if I’d insulted his ability to kiss me senseless. “Oh, wow.” I sighed. His response . . . “You better fuckin’ believe it!”

I loved the concept of this book. I loved that Nicola was an author. I loved her process and how her friends got caught up in the research for her first contemporary book.

Dallas was a great alpha. I loved the way that Dallas and Nicola met. I died laughing. And every "meet" after that was pure gold. I actually wish there had been more time they spent either together or dancing around each other before they were drawn into the murder mystery.

With each book, I think the author gets better and better at the insta-love theme. The whole book takes place over a couple of weeks, but it feels like months (in a good way). So much happens that you forget that Dallas and Nicola just met.

My one complaint (and this was a personal thing) was how during certain events in the book, Nicola would start telling it in a historical romance narrative and while it was ok, and worked in the scene in the bar, every other time, I would have preferred to read the actual events. Like I said, it was a personal opinion.

Overall, I've really come to enjoy this author's work and I look forward to her next book.

HOLLY LANE by JB Morgan

Title: Holly Lane
Author: J.B. Morgan
Genre: Contemporary Holiday Romance

Hollie + Layne = One trip. One week. One chance meeting that they'll never forget. Two hearts. Two different places. And One event that could change it all.

This Christmas, take a stroll down Holly Lane where you'll find Hollie Reed's story of memories, friendships, a town full of holiday joy and the power of love.

J.B. Morgan resides in Oregon where she's a wife and a stay-at-home-mother of two. When she's not writing she can be found carting her kids everywhere, volunteering at their school, busy with her church calling, or reading. She loves the NY Yankees, traveling, her family and chocolate.

Two reasons that helped inspire J.B. Morgan to try her hand at writing:

1. When she was younger, she would make up hero-rescuing stories in her head, revolving
around boys she had crushes on at school.

2. She missed reading about nice, normal, good men and books with a story line.

J.B. likes to write clean New Adult & Contemporary Romance stories. Her up-coming books are mostly suitable for older teen- YA readers as well as those in the New Adult/Contempt genre.  She definitely knows how to write a swoon worthy leading male.
