Ok, so I had In Skates Trouble on my kindle and I randomly opened it to read one day. It was awesome so I decided to hit up Amazon for the next in the series, and the next thing I knew, it was a few days later and I'd read the whole series and was so in love with these books! But alas, the last book, Hooked On You, was not yet out. I was devastated! I can be a little impatient....

Anyway, I was fortunate and got and ARC. Which I devoured in one day. I couldn't put it down! I had to know what would unfold for secret baby sister Violet and single hotstuff dad Bren. And oh boy... let me tell you! This book was ahhhhmazing! I couldn't put it down! There was so much goodness. These two circled each other and fought their feelings so hard. It was very entertaining, and also a little aggravating lol. I just wanted to yell and be like 'get it on already!' ;) They did... eventually :D and it was AWESOME! Emotions got a little high in this book. Violet was dealing with some things that were pretty tough. And so was Bren. Baby mama drama. Trying his damnedest not to fall (more) for Violet. Good times. One thing I really liked, was that they kinda became unlikely friends. They shared some things that Violet wasn't quite ready to share with her sisters. I don't want to really delve too deep, because this is definitely a book worthy of no spoilers. I feel like my thoughts are all over the place, but I know one thing for sure, you need to know it was an awesome book and you gotta read it! Kate Meader has definitely found a new fan in me and I look forward to more books by her. The entire Chicago Rebels series is one I can see myself rereading in the near future.
