"5 fury stars!!!  This has got to be one of my all time favorite MC books!"  ~Melissa from Alpha Book Club
"Fabulous sexy love story.  This book is full of hot sex scenes and dirty talking bikers."  ~Jessi from Hashtag Minxes Love Books

"Holy wow... what a great story.  There isn't a lot of drama and suspense in this one but it's a tale as old as time... beauty meets the beast and I love it."  ~Amy from Ramblings Beneath the Sheets

I'm a big fan of biker books. But I have to admit I'm a little picky about them. I'm not a fan of cheating and I insist on a hea. When I read a teaser for this book, I was instantly intrigued. I couldn't wait for more. Everything I knew about this book made me think it was going to be perfect.

Unfortunately, it fell a little short. I'm giving it 3 stars but only because I had been in the worst book funk ever, and for some reason, Rough and Rowdy kept me reading and helped to bring me out of that funk.
It started out great, but once I surpassed the teaser part I'd already read, it just kinda went downhill. There were a lot of things happening and it just came off cheesy and irritating. Fury, the "hero", was a pig. While he never cheated on the leading lady, he said multiple times how even though he wasn't going to touch another woman, it was totally fine to look. Going so far as to tell one of the club whores he'd previously done, to masturbate on the table right in front of him so he could watch. Just no. This is my problem with biker books, too many ways to get too close to cheating, which is a major no no for me. Anyway, some of the things he said / thought along these lines just came off in more of a douche bag way rather than a bad ass way.

The heroine was ok. She didn't really put up with crap but she also was just waiting on the hero to come back to her.

Overall this book was just ok for me. It had some good parts and some funny parts, but I'm not sure if they were really funny or I just found them that way...

The writing style was good and I would definitely read more from this author. And I would just like to note, had I not been in the book funk I had been in, I might have felt different.

On the plus side, there were lots of sexy times! This author definitely has that aspect down ;)
