MORE THAN FOREVER
FOREVER, #4

-LUCY-

There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.

A heart so strong it will never slow.

There is a promise so sure it can never lie.

He promised me that love forever.

Even when it wasn't enough.

-CAMERON-

Forever. Everlasting. Eternal.

There is no measure of time.

No sounds of the ticking of a clock.

Just the rising and falling of the sun.

And our own sense of forever.

But our forever isn't always.

So, unlike the previous books in this series More Than Forever takes you back in time. It starts with a young Lucy, only 15, a girl carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. A world that is about to be forever changed…And I have to say that prior to starting this book, I was both excited and scared to read this. Over the previous 3 books, I had come to know and love Cam and Lucy and their relationship. Since they were getting a book, you knew it wasn't going to be all sunshine and roses. So I was scared that they wouldn't get the HEA that I wanted for them.

I had that same fear. Then I confused myself for a moment thinking "well we know they end up together since they're together in the other books." Then I realized, More Than Forever goes beyond  the other books in the future and I started to worry since we didn't actually know the outcome!

Oh I know! There were quite a few moments that were heart stopping and left me biting my nails! But I was totally hooked on this book. It kept me laughing and close to tears at times and I was glued to my kindle! Cam and Lucy had a great love story. The beginning was heartbreaking and I felt awful for what Lucy had to go through at such a young age.

I couldn't have said it better! More Than Forever was a beautiful, heartwarming, at times heartbreaking, hilarious and swoon worthy love story. I laughed so much, I got choked up, I was biting my nails anxiously and I was swooning the entire time. I could not put it down. I was happy that Cam was able to help Lucy heal from her mother's passing.

I couldn't agree more. Cam was the light at the end of a dark tunnel that she needed, whether she realized it right away or not. He was perfect  Such a bumbling teenage boy when he was around her and it was adorable. And I loved the way he treated her. All he wanted was for her to be happy. And he was willing to move heaven and earth to make that happen

Omg I ❤ Cam So much! He is definitely now one of my all time favorite heroes! Because he really is a hero. He wasn't the typical alpha male. He cried when he needed to. He was strong for Lucy and for himself. He was funny and caring and everything a true hero should be. I am seriously blown away at how awesome of a job Jay McLean did with this book!

Again, I totally agree with you. I knew I liked Cam from just knowing him as a friend in the previous books, but I wasn't even prepared for how amazing he and this book would be. I literally don't have the words to express how much I loved him. He was human, he made his fare share of mistakes but there was never a time when he wasn't a good guy. He always remained true to the guy that we were introduced to in More Than This.

Exactly! He was amazing the entire time! As was Lucy. She had so much on her plate from such a young age. And while they both made mistakes, come on lets face it, that just made them more real. And the fact that even though they had one hiccup in their relationship, they stayed true to each other, and they stayed together and stayed strong. Theirs is a lasting, a beautiful, a forever kind of love that people can only dream of finding. love struck

Dude. Stop pulling my thoughts right out of my brain! winking But speaking of Lucy, I totally loved her! The whole time I was reading, I kept thinking she was just like us! If she were real, she would make a perfect addition to our blog! I have to say that one of my most favorite moments was when she was doing research and looking at her kindle the first time she gave Cam a blow job. I just about died laughing!

Omg I almost fell out of my chair laughing at that part! big grin And yes, Lucy would be the perfect addition for us! She loved reading as much as we do!

Actually pretty much the whole book was funny. I loved it the first time they were making out at school and Lucy realized that Cam was excited. Her reaction was priceless and the way he went to Mark for advice had me rolling!

Omg! rolling on the floor And I loved Cam's mom Heather, and Mark. When She thought he was gonna tell her he got 'some girl' pregnant... I couldn't help but laugh out loud! And Cam's speakerphone antics at Marky Mark's dealership! big grin I honestly can't think of a single thing I didn't like about this book!

Same here. Even when I was biting my nails through the issues Cam and Lucy went through, I still loved it because there was never any doubt that they loved each other. You knew that they HAD to end up together.

Exactly! This book reached right in and stole my ❤!

I don't want to give anything away but there was one character that I wanted to tie up and burn at the stake...as soon as this person was introduced I knew they were trouble. And every time they showed up I wanted to punch them.

I concur straight face angry I can't even say more cuz I would spoil it.

There's just one more thing I want to discuss, it's not really a complaint, but I kind of wish that there had been some insight into their future in the epilogue...where they were in 10 years, if they had kids and how many. I'm hoping that the author will continue to add to the series because I seriously need a book about Dylan!

Well, I happened to have seen that there is going to be a book 5 titled More Than Enough, but sadly we have to wait til mid 2015 sad Also, I don't know who its gonna be about but I'm guessing it will be Dylan! And I agree, I hope we get to see Cam and Lucy with some kids in that book!

So in closing, this was a fantabulous book that we highly recommend! A great love story by a great author! ❤

"I hate that guy," Logan jerks his head toward Jake and a new kid.

"The new kid? Dylan?"

He nods. "He thinks he owns the school."

"Really?" I glare over at them. "Apparently he kills

it on the basketball court, but I dunno." I shrug. "He hasn't said two words to me. He seems quiet."

"Those are the ones you have to worry about, Cam. The quiet broody assholes get all the girls. Better watch him around that new girl of yours."

I play dumb. "What new girl?"

"Shut up, asshole. You don't think I notice you watching her all the fucking time?"

I lift my chin. "I think if there's an asshole in this entire school to watch out for, it's you."

He laughs and adjusts his cap. "You don't need to worry about me. I'm not into stealing my friend's girls." He shoves his hand in his catcher's glove and smacks my arm with it. "Say the word. Claim her. I promise to stay away and I'll make sure she's untouchable to everyone else."

"I'm not an asshole and she isn't property. I can't own her."

"If that's what you want." He raises an eyebrow. "She's cute. In a couple years she'll be hot. Guys will be all over her. I'm just trying to help out."

I think about what he's saying, and he makes a good point. Only he's wrong—she's hot now. "Fine. I claim her. She's mine."

His smirk is instant. "You can't own someone, you pig. She isn't property."

I laugh. "Fuck you."

Jake struts over to us. "Ya reckon that new kid Dylan can hang out with us this arvo? He seems like a top bloke."

Logan's gaze moves to me, confusion clear on his face. I shrug. He lets out a chuckle before gripping both of Jake's shoulders and shaking him gently. He looks him right in the eye, speaking slowly and clearly. "I have no idea what the fuck you just said."

The More Series

More Than This, #1

*Mikayla*

In one night my fairytale ended. Or it may have begun. This is my story of friendship and love, heartbreak and desire, and the strength to show weakness.

*Jake*

One night I met a girl. A sad and broken girl, but one more beautiful than any other. She laughed through her sadness, while I loved through her heartbreak.

*This is our story of a maybe ever after.*

He was right. It made no difference whether it was 6 months or 6 years.

I couldn’t undo what had been done. I couldn’t change the future.

I couldn’t even predict it.

It was one night.

One night when everything changed.

It was so much more than just the betrayal.

It was the Tragedy.

The Deaths.

The Murders.

But it was also that feeling.

The feeling of falling.

More Than Her, #2

For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction." For every choice you make there are rewards, or there are consequences. It was my choice to walk away the first time. And my choice to chase her the second. But sometimes you don't get a choice, and all you get are the consequences.” "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” Unless that someone is Logan Matthews. Because loving him didn't give me the strength to walk away. It didn't give me the courage to fight for him. And when it was over, all it gave me was a broken heart.

More Than Him, #3

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson

We live in a world of darkness and shadows,
where monsters hide and aim to ruin.
And they did.
They ruined us and turned our dreams into nightmares.
But now we're back.
And we're fighting.
Not just for us, or for each other, but for our light.
