The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair.
Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns.
Her passion for neatness.
Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever.
I need to know everything about her.
Her past. Her present.
The way she takes her coffee.
Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings.
She’s perfect in every way and I was blind.
But, God, now do I see.
I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet.
How she visits the same market each Saturday.
The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.
Violet is mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.
***WARNING***
Notice is a dark and unusual romance. Extreme sexual themes and violence in certain scenes, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. When I first
saw the blurb for this book, I was instantly intrigued. But then the closer it
came to release day, the more nervous I became. I started to question if I
would like it, if it was something that I would enjoy…and since I don’t tend to
read books that don’t look good to me, I got nervous.
This is NOT
a book that I would typically go for. I’m saying that right off the bat.
But you gave it 5 stars! you say…well, yes. Yes I did. I didn’t
expect to love it. But I did. It wasn’t instantaneous. It took until Violet
gave her 2 weeks notice for me to actually get into it. I was just going along
with it up until that point, wondering how I was ever going to make it through
since she was treated so horribly at work and I just wasn’t sure I could make
it through. But once she had Gray’s attention, the book had mine. I couldn’t
put it down. I started gushing to Nikki about it and telling her that it was
awesome and that she’d love it and that she HAD to read it.
I loved the chemistry between Violet and Gray. I loved how he pursued her and even bought her a kindle. And can I just say, I love a man that owns a pizza place ;) I loved how he went after her, making her comfortable and getting her to fall for him.
One of my favorite parts of the book was Gray's best friend Bull. He was hilarious and never batted an eyelash at Gray's antics with Violet.
I would definitely recommend this book to any and all who will listen!

Oh. Emm. Gee... Can I just say... I fah-reeee-king LOVED this book! I don't know if have a screw loose or something, but I've been on a stalker type hero kick lately and this book was exactly what I wanted and needed. It. Was. Perfect. Lindsay told me a little about it and I was like gimme gimme gimme! So, I read it in basically one sitting. I was hooked form the beginning to the end. Gray... Man he was a little psycho but in all the best ways! ❤ Some of the things he did, I honestly think I would have shot his ass if it were real life, but in this book, I was rooting for him the whole way! I was a little jelly of Violet lol. I really don't want to say too much and give anything away, but Gray was head over teakettle for her and he stopped and nothing to make her his. One thing that stands out, is her reaction when it all comes to a head. Not giving anything away, but I was a little shocked that things went the way they did. In a good way. ;) They had amazing chemistry and the writing here was awesomesauce. This is my first book from this author but I gotta say, if any of her other heroes are like Gray, I'll be on that like white on rice! As for Bull, like Lindsay said, he was the BEST supporting character ever. I loved him and I wish we could get like a novella or something to tell his story. ❤
One other thing I need to mention, and mind you if you've read this book than you'll know what I'm talking about... The end. The chest. I totally saw it and I was seriously hoping the contents would turn out to be exactly what they were. I've seen some reviews that were all saying they didn't see that coming, but I kinda did. And it made me happy. So yeah.... screw loose. Whatevs ;)
I ❤ Gray
