But then a beautiful woman's face is splashed across social media, and Pace finds a spark in his soul for the first time since a bomb went off beside him.

He's already missing two legs. What's one more kidney?

Object of my Desire by R.L. Kenderson

Today we have the blog tour for R.L. Kenderson’s Object of my Desire! Check it out and grab your copy today!

Title: Object of my Desire

Author: R.L. Kenderson

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Photographer: FuriousFotog

Model: Chase Ketron

Designer: R.L. Kenderson

A romance author, a cover model, a book signing...a crush.

Ordinary women like me know we shouldn't fall for beautiful men like Travis Zehler, one of the hottest cover models in romance fiction. But sometimes we can’t help ourselves.

When I meet him at a book signing, my attraction to him is instant. I'm infatuated, and I can't stop thinking about him.

Even though I have doubts he’d ever be interested, I invite Travis to attend a book signing with me. And he says yes.

My fantasy comes true when he takes me to his bed, and the more time we spend together, the more I see that Travis isn’t some object to be desired.

He’s a man with a past. A man who’s been burned. A man who’s learned to keep his guard up.

I want to show him he can trust again, but when our confidence in each other is shaken, I began to wonder if happily ever afters are only for my romance novels.

I did enjoy this book, but there was....something missing for me. I'm not sure what it was, I honestly can't put my finger on it. But you know how you read a book and you like it but there's just something about it that was missing so you didn't LOVE it?! That's how this book was for me.

I really liked Travis and Sydney. I loved getting to know them and I loved how their friendship developed. But I'll also say that I wish there had been more of that. Because there was a wham bam kiss then nothing. Then they got together and it was a case of "what does this mean?!"

I thought the story was well done. And having been to a few signings myself, and met a few models, I definitely knew where Sydney was coming from when she first met Travis. *confession time*...the first cover model I met at a signing...well, let's just say I embarrassed myself in front of him. He laughed, I turned red and I got a signed book, photo and a hug out of it. I hope I never meet him again 😜🙈...*confession over*....so I totally understood how Sydney felt when she fell on the floor in front of Travis and a few of the other incidents that happened. Ok, not THAT scene in the hotel room at their first signing attended together...but you know what I mean.

As with every romance novel, you know there's going to come a time when something happens in the relationship to make it blow up. I saw it coming a mile away. And I was face palming so hard...sure enough, it happened, things went bad and I just wanted to smack both of them. And I'll be honest. By that point, I wasn't really feeling the love between them so if they hadn't gotten back together...I'd have been ok. So the way they did get back together...I didn't care for it. I just wasn't feeling it. But, that's just me.

Overall, the book was really good, and I'd definitely check out more books from this author in the future!

R.L. Kenderson is two best friends writing under one name. Renae has always loved reading, and in third grade, she wrote her first poem where she learned she might have a knack for this writing thing. Lara remembers sneaking her grandmother’s Harlequin novels when she was probably too young to be reading them, and since then, she knew she wanted to write her own. When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels. When they discovered their first vampire romance, they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance. After being unable to find certain storylines and characteristics they wanted to read about in the hundreds of books they consumed, they decided to write their own. One lives in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and the other in the Kansas City area where they’re a sonographer/stay-at-home mom/wife and pharmacist/mother by day, and together they’re a sexy author by night. They communicate through phone, email, and whole lot of messaging. You can find them at http://www.rlkenderson.com, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, and Goodreads. Peter Parker Penn.

Unlike the superhero his mother named him after, Parker is no good guy.

In fact, if there’s a picture in the dictionary under anti-hero, it’s his.

Parker’s spent his life trying to get back on the right side of the tracks, but each step he takes forward, he takes two more steps back.

To save one, he hurts others. To make this good, he turns that bad.

For appearances’ sake, he plays the part. He does what people expect him to do-mostly.

And at the end of each day, he goes back to his lonely apartment and wishes he was a different person. One who could fix the things he’s broken.

Then Kayla Nash forces her way into his life, and the world as he knows it is irrevocably changed.

Everything he thinks he has right is wrong. And everything he thinks is wrong is oh, so right.

One thing leads to another, and suddenly he’s growing a conscience, and trying to prove to her that he’s as bad as everybody says he is.

Yet she won’t listen.

She’s convinced that she can save him.

Little does she know, Parker isn’t worth saving, and never will be.

Blog Tour: In Too Deep by Jordan Marie

I did a bad thing.

I did a really bad thing.

I’m not a bad person, I swear. I just made a few mistakes.

Mistake number one was agreeing to rent my hotel out to an insufferable a**hole, named Aden Smith.

Mistake number two was ignoring his threats to sue me when he handed over a list of items he deemed “unacceptable”.

Mistake number three was diving into the pool to save his life when he fell. It would have been less complicated to hide his body.

When the hospital refuses to let me know how he is, I panic.

Claiming to be his wife might be my biggest mistake yet—especially when he believes me!

He might have been the one drowning, but I’m sinking in a bed of lies, going down fast—and there’s not a rescue in sight.

LTM - RWB Teaser 2

In New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby’s brand new series, five best friends open a hot new restaurant, but one of them gets much more than she bargained for when a sexy former rock star walks through the doors—and into her heart.

Seduction is quickly becoming the hottest new restaurant in Portland, and Addison Wade is proud to claim 1/5 of the credit. She’s determined to make it a success and can’t think of a better way to bring in new customers than live music. But when former rock star Jake Keller swaggers through the doors to apply for the weekend gig, she knows she’s in trouble. Addie instantly recognizes him—his posters were plastered all over her bedroom walls in high school—he’s all bad boy…exactly her type and exactly what she doesn’t need.

Jake Keller walked away from the limelight five years ago and yearns to return to what’s always driven him: the music. If he gets to work for a smart-mouthed, funny-as-hell bombshell, all the better. But talking Addie into giving him the job is far easier than persuading her that he wants more than a romp in her bed. Just when she begins to drop her walls, Jake’s past finally catches up with him.

Will Addie be torn apart once again or will Jake be able to convince her to drown out her doubts and listen to her heart?

"The story is fresh, the characters are hot, the chemistry between Jake and Addison is through the roof, and the picture that Ms. Proby paints is vivid and energetic." -Literati Literature Lovers

This book totally drew me in. The blurb sound awesome, the cover was amazing…it was screaming at me to read it. So I couldn’t wait to start it!

I actually loved the way the book started. I loved the way Addison and Jake met. I loved that their eyes met when he sang at open mic night and that when they officially met at her restaurant, there was an instant connection.

Unfortunately, things didn’t stay golden for me and this book. While I enjoyed the way Addison and Jake met, I really hated how Addison treated him when he made his interest known. I felt like she was a royal witch (with a capital B) and for no good reason. She was judging him by the actions of past guys, without knowing him or anything about who he really was. At one point, she was thinking that she could fall for him but wouldn’t survive getting her heart broken again and that she should be a bitch and I was sitting there yelling at my kindle “THAT’S NOT A GOOD REASON!!!!” Anyone who knows me knows that I have issues with KA guys….and I’ll be perfectly honest and say that Addison ranked right up there with them. I hated her with a burning passion I typically only reserve for KA guys. I came close to throwing my precious kindle. But I persevered. I kept reading. And while Addison and I did come to a truce at one point, I can’t say I ever really connected with her.

Jake on the other hand…I loved him. He was damaged and redeemable and broken and hot and talented and oh-so-perfect in an imperfect way. He was a character I could connect with and root for. And I hated that he was so awesome and took Addison’s abuse. When he panicked and walked away…I was shaking my head because I knew that when he wised up, she would make things beyond miserable for him when he came to apologize…and she did.

I am still really interested in Addison’s friends, particularly Landon and what happened toward the end of the book. I hope his story comes out soon, because I’m dying to read it!!!

Alexander & Rebecca (Royals of Valleria #1)

Rebecca Campo loves her work. Chief of Staff to Princess Catharine, her best friend and Prince Alexander’s twin sister, she travels all over the world, meets with other royalty, and lives a life she could never have dreamt possible. Even after their passions overtake them, Rebecca still doesn’t believe they are meant for forever because she’s only a commoner, not a future queen.

Prince Alexander, heir to the throne of Valleria, takes his duties very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that he’s followed duty over pursuing the woman he’s loved for years. However, now it’s time for him to marry, and he’s tired of waiting. He’ll pursue her despite royal objections, and despite her own. Unexpectedly, a death threat is made against the Prince and the whole family goes on alert. What no one counted on, however, was Rebecca getting caught in the crossfire.
