REVIEW: Deathly: The Dillon Sisters by Brynne Asher

Deathly: The Dillon Sisters by Brynne Asher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Book Description:
I’m a fraud. Or an imposter. I’m certainly a hypocrite.

I offer advice for a living. Encourage my patients to make wise decisions—help them help themselves to walk through life stronger, healthier, happier.

Isn’t that the goal? To live our best lives?

If only I practiced what I preach.

I wasn’t always like this. Every move I make lately is the opposite of smart. These questionable life choices are a new development.

They started the day a certain Vitale barged into my life.

Brand Vitale might look like a hero to the rest of the world, but looks can be deceiving.

I’m driven by obsession for a man who’s turning out to be dark, dangerous, and downright depraved.

And I don’t care.

Because, sometimes, depraved, debauched—hell, or even deathly—is the only option.

Blown away!

This past year I’ve been in the worst reading slump ever. No desire to read. I’ve actually had this book on my kindle for a couple weeks and kept putting it off. The other day I finally got in a reading mood and decided to start it. I went in only having read the blurb. I had a friend check reviews for me just to make sure there was no cliffhanger since I can’t stand those lol. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down! I was hooked, and I can say there are few authors who can reel me in like this. Brynne Asher is one of those few! The last time I was in this type of slump, it was one of her books that pulled me out which is why I knew this was the one I needed to try and read since I was in the mood. Of course she did not disappoint! Brynne Asher is one of my very favorite authors and after this book, she has definitely kept that track going.

I’m not going to go into great detail, because I’ve read other reviews and I definitely agree this book needs to be consumed blindly. Going in not knowing much about it is the best way to experience the amazingness of this book!

What I will say is this, Brand an Aria are my absolute favorite couple. Let’s just say the levels of possessiveness and obsessiveness are spot f$@king on and there’s twists… omg I can’t even say! Soooooo didn’t see that coming!!!! This book literally hit on every favorite guilty pleasure I have in books. I legit have nothing negative to say about it. I highly recommend Deathly. Highly!

I’ll be reading Layla Frost’s companion Damaged to learn about Aria’s sister, Briar next.
